Description
A rich and moist German chocolate poke cake filled with chocolate, coconut, and pecan frosting.

- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes all over the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
- In a bowl, mix the coconut and pecans, then spread over the cake.
- Frost with chocolate frosting once the cake is completely cooled.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be topped with whipped cream for extra flavor.
- Use toasted pecans for a richer taste.
