  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  5. Cover and let dough rise for 1-2 hours.
  6. Roll out dough and cut into donut shapes.
  7. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Fry donuts until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  9. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
