Ingrédients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Stuffing – 1 package (14 oz)
- Potatoes – 5 lbs
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Pumpkin pie – 1 (store-bought or homemade)
- Butter – 1 cup
- Olive oil – 1/4 cup
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Onion – 1 large
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning it with salt, pepper, and olive oil.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, removing the foil for the last hour to brown the skin.
- Meanwhile, peel and chop the potatoes, then boil until tender.
- Drain potatoes and mash with butter, salt, and pepper.
- Steam green beans until crisp-tender.
- Heat cranberry sauce in a saucepan.
- Serve turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce.
- Finish the meal with pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
- Make the stuffing the day before for better flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
