A delicious recipe for Gordon Ramsay’s famous carrot cake.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add oil and eggs to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Fold in grated carrots, pineapple, walnuts, and raisins.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be topped with cream cheese frosting.
- Use fresh carrots for best flavor.
