  • 2 tablespoons dried grey lavender
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Stir in milk and lavender.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  7. Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before glazing.
  10. For glaze, mix honey, lemon juice, and zest until smooth. Pour over the cooled cake.
