Description
Delicious cupcakes inspired by the famous butterbeer from Harry Potter.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup butterscotch sauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup whipped cream for topping
- Butterscotch bits for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Stir in buttermilk, butterscotch sauce, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle butterscotch bits.
Notes
- Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
- Use homemade or store-bought butterscotch sauce.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
