A classic homemade eggnog recipe perfect for the holidays.
Ingrédients

- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup bourbon or rum (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs until pale.
- Gradually add sugar, whisking until dissolved.
- Stir in milk and cream.
- Add vanilla and nutmeg. Mix well.
- If using, add bourbon or rum and stir.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve in glasses, garnished with extra nutmeg if desired.
