Ingrédients

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it begins to steam.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, egg yolks, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the custard into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
