A classic homestyle meatloaf inspired by Cracker Barrel flavors.

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup additional ketchup for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, eggs, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and additional ketchup. Spread it over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
