Description
A creamy and spicy mac and cheese dish topped with hot honey and chicken.
Ingrédients

- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour and whisk until smooth.
- Slowly add milk, whisking constantly until thickened.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in cheese until melted.
- Add cooked macaroni and chicken to the cheese sauce. Mix well.
- Drizzle hot honey over the top before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
- You can use any cheese you prefer.
- This dish can be baked for a crispy top.
