Instructions
- Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Soak the lentils for 30 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pot and add cumin seeds.
- Add mixed vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add soaked lentils, rice, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Add water as needed and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in yogurt and garam masala before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh vegetables for better flavor.
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
- Serve with naan or roti.
