Ingrédients

  • Roast turkey – 1 (12 lb)
  • Olive oil – 1/4 cup
  • Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Fresh thyme – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Stuffing – 4 cups
  • Green beans – 1 lb
  • Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup, grated
  • Pumpkin pie – 1 (9-inch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rub turkey with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff turkey with stuffing mixture.
  4. Place turkey in roasting pan and cover with foil.
  5. Roast for 2 to 2.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  6. In the last 30 minutes, remove foil to brown the skin.
  7. Steam green beans and toss with parmesan cheese.
  8. Serve turkey with stuffing and green beans.
  9. Slice pumpkin pie for dessert.

  • Let turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
