Description
Japanese New Year Soup, known as Zoni, is a traditional dish served during the New Year celebrations in Japan.
Ingrédients

- 4 cups dashi broth
- 1 cup mochi (rice cake)
- 1 cup chicken, sliced
- 1 cup daikon radish, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup spinach
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the dashi broth in a pot over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
- Add daikon and carrots, cooking until tender.
- Add mochi and cook until it softens.
- Stir in soy sauce and mirin.
- Add spinach and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve hot in bowls.

- Use fresh ingredients for best flavor.
- You can add other vegetables like mushrooms or green onions.
- Adjust the soy sauce according to your taste.
