Ingrédients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • Butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk and egg yolks until combined.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold egg whites into the batter.
  6. Heat a non-stick pan and add butter.
  7. Pour a scoop of batter into the pan and cook on low heat for about 4 minutes.
  8. Flip and cook for another 4 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with toppings of your choice.
