Ingrédients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 1/4 cup jerk seasoning
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Rinse the turkey and pat it dry.
- In a bowl, mix jerk seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the turkey, including under the skin.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of jerk seasoning.
- Marinate the turkey overnight for deeper flavor.
- Serve with traditional sides like stuffing and cranberry sauce.
