Traditional Korean New Year meal
Ingrédients
- Rice cake (tteok) – 500g
- Beef – 200g
- Carrots – 1 medium
- Radish – 1 medium
- Eggs – 2
- Sesame oil – 2 tablespoons
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Green onions – 2
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Soak rice cakes in water for 1 hour.
- Slice beef, carrots, and radish into thin strips.
- Heat a pan with sesame oil.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add beef and cook until browned.
- Add carrots and radish, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Add soaked rice cakes and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
- Scramble eggs in a separate pan and slice them.
- Garnish the dish with green onions and scrambled eggs.
- Serve hot with salt and pepper to taste.
