Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder, then add to the mixture alternately with milk.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased wreath pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool completely.
  8. Spread chocolate frosting over the cooled cake.
  9. Sprinkle desiccated coconut over the frosting.
