A delicious lamington wreath made with sponge cake, chocolate, and coconut.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder, then add to the mixture alternately with milk.
- Pour the batter into a greased wreath pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Spread chocolate frosting over the cooled cake.
- Sprinkle desiccated coconut over the frosting.
Notes
- Use fresh eggs for better texture.
- Make sure the cake is completely cooled before frosting.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
