Classic Italian dish with layers of pasta, meat, and cheese.
Ingrédients

- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 noodles, half the beef, half the ricotta mixture, and a third of the mozzarella.
- Repeat layers, ending with noodles, sauce, and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Let lasagna sit for 10 minutes before cutting.
- Can substitute ground turkey for beef.
- Add vegetables like spinach or zucchini for extra nutrition.
