A classic Italian dish made with layers of pasta, meat, cheese, and tomato sauce.

- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
- Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce.
- Add three noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles.
- Sprinkle with one-third of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and remaining meat sauce.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Let lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated or frozen for later use.
