Description

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce.
  6. Add three noodles over the sauce.
  7. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles.
  8. Sprinkle with one-third of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and remaining meat sauce.
  10. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  11. Bake for 30-40 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Let lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated or frozen for later use.
