Description
Crispy potato pancakes traditionally served during Hanukkah.
Ingrédients

- 4 medium potatoes, grated
- 1 onion, grated
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Grate the potatoes and onion into a bowl.
- Drain excess moisture from the mixture.
- Add eggs, flour, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Mix until combined.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Scoop a portion of the mixture and flatten it in the skillet.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- Serve with sour cream or applesauce.
- Make sure oil is hot before frying.
- Can be kept warm in the oven.
