Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and powdered sugar.
  3. Add butter and blend until crumbly.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8-inch square pan.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust.
  8. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars.
