  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the lemon cake mix, softened cream cheese, and butter until well combined.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  4. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and coat them in powdered sugar.
  6. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
