Description
A refreshing Italian lemon liqueur made from lemon zest, sugar, and alcohol.
Ingrédients

- 10 lemons
- 1 liter of vodka
- 3 cups of sugar
- 4 cups of water
Instructions
- Wash and peel the lemons, making sure to avoid the white pith.
- Place the lemon peels in a jar and add the vodka.
- Seal the jar and let it steep for at least 7 days in a cool, dark place.
- After steeping, boil the water and sugar together until dissolved to make a simple syrup.
- Let the syrup cool and then mix it with the lemon-infused vodka.
- Strain the mixture into bottles and seal them.
- Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use organic lemons for the best flavor.
- Adjust the sugar to taste if you prefer a sweeter or less sweet liqueur.
- Limoncello can be served chilled or used in cocktails.
