Ingrédients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Olive oil – 1/4 cup
- Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
- Fresh rosemary – 2 tbsp, chopped
- Fresh thyme – 2 tbsp, chopped
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Pepper – 1 tsp
- Cauliflower – 2 heads, chopped
- Butter – 1/2 cup
- Heavy cream – 1/2 cup
- Cheddar cheese – 1 cup, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cook for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Meanwhile, steam the cauliflower until tender.
- In a bowl, mash the cauliflower with butter and heavy cream until smooth.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
- Serve the turkey with the cauliflower mash.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- You can season the cauliflower mash to taste.
- Use leftover turkey for sandwiches or salads.
