Description
Mango crumb bars are a delicious dessert featuring a sweet mango filling topped with a buttery crumb crust.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine diced mango, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
- Spread the mango mixture over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use ripe mangoes for best flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served with whipped cream.
