  • 2 ripe mangoes

Instructions

  1. Rinse the glutinous rice until the water runs clear.
  2. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Drain the rice and steam it for about 25 minutes until cooked.
  4. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Once the rice is cooked, mix it with half of the coconut milk mixture.
  6. Let the rice sit for about 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  7. Peel and slice the mangoes.
  8. To serve, place sticky rice on a plate, top with mango slices, and drizzle with the remaining coconut milk mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
