Sweet and savory maple bacon fudge.

- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine maple syrup, heavy cream, sugar, and butter.
- Heat over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
- Continue to boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and bacon.
- Pour mixture into prepared dish and let it cool.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store fudge in an airtight container.
- Use thick-cut bacon for better texture.
- Experiment with different types of maple syrup.
