Description
Delicious meatball subs with marinara sauce and melted cheese.
Ingrédients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce.
- Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Fill sub rolls with meatballs and sauce.
- Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake subs for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
Notes
- Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side.
- Use turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
