Ingrédients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce.
  6. Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Fill sub rolls with meatballs and sauce.
  8. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake subs for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side.
  • Use turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
