- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add chicken breasts to the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, place flour. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, coating thoroughly.
- In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
