Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and cut the potatoes into quarters.
  3. Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15 minutes.
  4. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  5. Add heavy cream and butter to the potatoes.
  6. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes until the top is golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
