Description

  • 2 cups of mole sauce
  • 1 cup of chopped almonds
  • 1 cup of raisins
  • 1 cup of diced apples
  • 1 cup of diced potatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups of corn masa
  • 1 cup of chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by cleaning and seasoning it.
  3. In a large pot, cook the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the mole sauce, almonds, raisins, apples, and potatoes.
  5. Stuff the turkey with the mixture and place it in a roasting pan.
  6. Pour chicken broth over the turkey.
  7. Cover with foil and roast for 2-3 hours, basting occasionally.
  8. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the turkey.
  9. Let it rest before carving and serving.
