Ingrédients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef or sausage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage with garlic. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning to the meat. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine ricotta, half the mozzarella, and half the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Add cooked ziti to the cheese mixture. Mix well.
  7. Layer half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce.
  8. Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce on top.
  9. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
