Million dollar baked ziti is a rich and comforting delight.
Ingrédients

- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 1 pound ground beef or sausage
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage with garlic. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning to the meat. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta, half the mozzarella, and half the Parmesan cheese.
- Add cooked ziti to the cheese mixture. Mix well.
- Layer half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce.
- Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce on top.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
- Customize with your favorite vegetables or spices.
