Description

A delicious and hearty million dollar ravioli casserole that is easy to prepare and perfect for family dinners.


Ingrédients

  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli (25 oz)
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  5. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli.
  6. Add a layer of marinara sauce, then sprinkle with a cup of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, marinara sauce, and finish with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add cooked ground beef or sausage for extra protein.
  • This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving for added flavor.
