Description
Mozzarella stuffed soft pretzels are delicious snacks made with soft dough and filled with gooey cheese.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups warm water (110°F to 115°F)
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Coarse sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces. Flatten each piece, add mozzarella, and shape into a pretzel.
- Boil water and baking soda in a pot. Boil each pretzel for 30 seconds.
- Place pretzels on a baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

- You can add herbs to the dough for extra flavor.
