Description

A hearty and comforting shepherd’s pie made with ground meat and topped with creamy mashed potatoes.


Ingrédients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion, carrots, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the frozen peas and mix well.
  6. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the meat mixture.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • You can use ground turkey for a lighter version.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or green beans.
