Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Mix until just combined.
- If using, divide batter and add food coloring to each portion.
- Pour the batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool before decorating.
- Decorate with sprinkles and frosting as desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use buttermilk instead of regular milk.
