  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Fresh berries for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool before icing.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and water to create icing and spread over the cake.
  11. Decorate with fresh berries.
