Ingrédients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup assorted fruits for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
  7. Gradually add flour mixture to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cakes cool before removing from pans.
  11. Decorate with assorted fruits before serving.
