  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients and milk, alternating between them.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  11. Once cooled, frost the cakes and decorate with edible glitter.
