- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, quartered
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub the olive oil all over the chicken.
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; rub this mixture on the chicken.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon quarters and fresh herbs.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
- Roast the chicken for about 1 hour 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
