Description
Classic old fashioned salmon patties made with canned salmon.
Ingrédients

- 1 can of salmon (14.75 oz)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Drain the canned salmon and remove any skin or bones.
- In a bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, celery, egg, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your choice of sauce.
Notes
- You can add herbs like dill or parsley for extra flavor.
- Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
- Leftover patties can be refrigerated and reheated.
