Ingrédients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter and blend until crumbly.
  4. Press the mixture into a tart pan.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cornstarch.
  7. Gradually whisk in milk over medium heat.
  8. Cook until bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly.
  9. Remove from heat and whisk in egg yolks and vanilla.
  10. Stir in butter until melted.
  11. Pour filling into the baked crust.
  12. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
