Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and melted butter to the flour mixture, stir until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Spread the peach mixture over the batter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with ice cream for added flavor.
- Use canned peaches if fresh ones are not available.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the peaches.
