Description

A copycat recipe for Olive Garden’s famous breadsticks.


Ingrédients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Roll each piece into a long stick and place on a baking sheet.
  9. Let the breadsticks rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush over warm breadsticks.
  12. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
