Description
This recipe makes irresistibly soft and buttery Olive Garden-style breadsticks.
Ingrédients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, salt, melted butter, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 pieces.
- Roll each piece into a stick shape and place on a baking sheet.
- Let the sticks rise for 20 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle garlic powder and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the oven for best results.
- Adjust garlic powder to your taste.
