Ingrédients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Remove patties and set aside.
  6. Add mushrooms to the pan and sauté until tender.
  7. Sprinkle flour over mushrooms and stir to combine.
  8. Slowly add beef broth, stirring constantly.
  9. Return patties to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.

Notes

  • Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
