- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapenos, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken in the skillet and sear for 5 minutes on each side.
- Add jalapenos on top of the chicken.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and jalapenos.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
