Ingrédients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking dish.
  2. Layer bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread.
  5. Add diced apples and nuts, if using.
  6. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes.
