Delicious overnight French toast casserole that is easy to prepare and perfect for breakfast.


Ingrédients

  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Place the cubed bread in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, making sure all pieces are coated.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. In a small bowl, mix maple syrup and melted butter.
  8. Drizzle the syrup mixture over the casserole.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
