Description
Pan seared cod served with a white wine tomato basil sauce.
Ingrédients

- 4 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Add cod to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove cod from the skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic and cherry tomatoes to the skillet; sauté for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in chopped basil and return the cod to the skillet.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until cod is cooked through.
Notes
- Serve with crusty bread for soaking up the sauce.
- Use fresh basil for best flavor.
